Lisa has written to say that this machine rips up the tarmac/asphalt and munches it up. When operating there will be either a tip truck/or resurfacer to collect the tar to be re-melted back onto the road.

Out and about, there are many things that puzzle me.
The central pole is mounted in the middle of this unmarked van. It is positioned so that the dish points over the nearby hill. Any ideas?
